ice protocol

Hi,

is it possible to use the ice protocol to import documents into a portal repository?

    Hi Bettina,

    yes, the KM platform spports ICE.

    Check the KM section in "System Configuration" in the Portal Administrator's role (and its documentation) to set up an ICE-based "content provider / content subscriber" relation between two servers.

    For manual import you could also use the WebDAV protocol.

      Hi Karsten,

      thanks for the info. I arranged a provider and a subscriber. But the metadata of the document were not sent into the portal by the ice-service, only the document without the metadata. How can I upload a document with it`s metadata into the portal?
