Portal in Netweaver

The top most layer of Netweaver is Enterprise Portal..

and Portal is not new, It has been developed by various big company's like SUN,IBM,BEA..etc, All these ppl have been successful in capturing the high-end customers..rather it has become that Portal is for big company's.

With this situation prevailing in the market and SAP getting in to Small Business Solution..Will the current Netweaver solution would fit into that??..how it is going to work out for Asian markets where u have lot of mid size company's.
