Error in Subscription/Notification during Approval Process

I have a issue here with respect to Content Management. Content users who have been subscribed to a folder do not get notifications once the document gets approved.

Let me explain the cycle and the settings done.

1) Create a folder in CM and gave the concerned users "Read" permission.

2) Subsribed the users to the concerned folders with the following features, Notification on "Any Change", Frequence "Daily". The user gets a notification that the Subscription for the folder has been created.

3) Intiated Approval process and added one Approver in Step 1.

4) Assigned the administrators and the Approvers to the "Approver Administration" Service permission.

5) When I upload a document, it is under "In progress" state and not visible to the Content Users. I then submit it for Approval. The document takes a "Awaiting approval" state and an notification is send to the Approver.

6) The Approver gets a notification under "Items to review" section. He approves the document after reading it. The document now has a status "Released" mentioning that the document has been publised.

Here I notice that the subscribed users do not get a notification that a document has been publised/released in the folder.Since the document has changed its state, content users should get a notification.

Is it a bug in the system or am I missing anything ?

    Hi Rajan,

did you check the Scheduler Tasks for the Subscription (see content management configuration > global services > scheduler service > scheduler tasks > polling scheduler task) as well as their timetables?

If your system is running in cluster mode (see global services > system landscape service), the CM Systems of the tasks have to be set!

You could also test with a subscriptions "on every event".

It that's not working, I consider this as a bug and then you should open an OSS message.

If "on every event" is working but "daily" is not working, it's probably the polling scheduler task.

    Best regards,
