ABAP Objects vs. Standard ABAP

What are the pros/cons of using ABAP objects techniques vs. standard ABAP.

    Practically there's no special needs to ABAP Objects , just the benefits of OO programming

    In the contens of BSP-Programming it is very usefull and in some cases necessary to use Abap Object.

    The bottom line on ABAP Objects is this: The whole world is moving in that direction. All new SAP code is done in ABAP Objects. It is simply a better set of building blocks in the construction of reusable code.
