How to create a moveable Popup

Hi,

Is there anyway we can create a moveable popup in web dynpro?

I can create a popup window, but I can't move it.

Has anyone ever done this before.

Thanks,

Fendy

    Hi Fendy,

This does not work at this point of time. We will deliver this feature with future releases (SAP NetWeaver 2005).

    Best regards, Karin

If your window doesn't need to be modal, you could just popup use the createExternalWindow() command and pass information by portal eventing.

You could probably even keep it modal with a little bit of javascript trickery in the window URL.

      Hi tomas,

      this implies 2 prerequsites:

      1. The application is running in the portal, which might not be the case.

      2. The client which actually displays the UI knows what JavaScript is, which might also not be the case. It's not garuanteed that the client will always be an internet browser.

      Regards

      Stefan
