How to find 1st day/ last day of the Fiscal Per

Is there any FM available , which gives 1st day of the fisc. per and lastday of the fiscper .

My requirements is,

i have a variable , where user puts date like this ..06/05/2010

i need to find 1st date of the fiscperiod , in this case it would be 04/01/2010 and the last day of the Fiscper. and it would be 03/31/2011.

please help..

Hi,

REBW_FIRST_DAY_OF_PERIOD_GET gives the first and last day of a fiscal period. You have to pass the date that the user enters into the FM DATE_TO_PERIOD_CONVERT first and get the fiscal period. Then use the above FM to get first and last day.

You can use function module FIRST_AND_LAST_DAY_IN_YEAR_GET

This FM takes in the year and fiscal year varient... returns both first and last date.

You can get the year from the values given by the user
