I just apply the SP0 to software components SAP BASIS 6.40, which took into various namespaces, including demo, samples and system.
Previously, I created a namespace for this software components, and actually it seems as if it cannot activate the new release(SP0), but it does hold the old one. So, if i right-click with the mouse on the software components SAP B. 640, the 'Current Version' is wrong; below I find the SP0, but I think it's inactive.
It is possible to activate it? Can I delete this software components and reimport it again from the SLD?
Please help, is truly urgent!!!

ED
The problem is that I created a namespace std http://sap.com/xi/XI/system under it....and now seems to be impossible to delete it, thus making the re-import of SC impossible also!!!

Ed,
In help on Namespaces in XI, its mentioned :
SAP namespaces adhere to the standard http://sap.com/xi/
.;
Maybe that's the reason you are unable to delete since IB thinks its SAP namespace.
...just a thought.
Hi Ed,
You've probably resolved this by now but for anyone else reading, a software component (SC) may be deleted. Just make sure that everything in that SC is removed first or else activation of changes will complain. Then you can re-import the SC again.
Enjoy!
