Execute FTP-Script via external OS command

Hello,

I want to execute a FTP-Script which is saved in a directory on WAS 6.20. I created an external OS command with transaction SM69 and tried it out with SM49. I tried two options. First ftp-command option "i" (for disabling interactive mode) was processed as expected. Second ftp-command option "s" was not yet processed. The error message was, that option "s" is not know. But if I tried it on my client with Windows "ftp -i -s:script_name" everything was processed correctly.

Is SAP WAS 6.20 not able to execute ftp-scripts or is this a question of the underlaying OS (in this case Linux) or the security settings?

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards
