New feature: Dynamic FAQ ?

Hi,

Now that SDN forums have lived for some time alot of the same questions are appearing. You will never get everyone to search the forum before they post, but most people will bother to read a FAQ.

I therefore suggest you provide a new feature which is a dynamic FAQ. Users post suggestions to FAQ entries, which go through a approval process by SAP Experts and if approve are published (and provided with permalinks). It is very important to make the FAQ dynamic, otherwise it will quickly be outdated and nobody will use it.

Maybe the should be one forum faq for each forum (which is clearly displayed for the forum you are visiting)

Hi Dagfinn,

That sounds not only interesting, but is on the list of things we want to implement.

Currently thinking about how to quickly find the most relevant questions and answers of every forum.

Hopefully soon the FAQs will be implemented.

what I think would be a nice feature is to give the initial poster of a question (marked as question) the possibility to mark an answer as the solution. This should also be visible in the topic list so it's easier to find thread with answers in the search engine and also to quickly scan the forum for questions which I can answer :-).

So you will create the FAQ rearly dynamic.
