Restricting changes in Service PR generated from Maintenance Order

Hi,

In configuration we have maintained that individual PR will be generated from Maintenance Orders. The Service PR has its Release Strategy. The requirement is that after the Service PR has been approved (based on Release Strategy), no further changes will be allowed in the same PR. For any changes, a new PR will be raised against a new Operation.

In standard system, even though the PR is released and we make changes in the quantity of the service in the Maintenance Order, the same is updated in the PR.

How can we restict the changes in Service PR from a Maintenance Order after it has been released?

Thank you.

Subhrojeet.

Hi,

Oce the qty change from PR is updated from maintenance order to PR the release strategy will get redetermined (based on the classification) used in release strategy. When qty changes then value also changes, in that case release procedure will get redetermined.

In case you don't want to allow user to change qty on order you may have to go for development. I don't think we have standard solution for this.

IWO10009 Maintenance order: Customer check for "Saving" may be in this user exit you can code that changes can not be made for the existing lines.
