Hello,

i'm introducing myself in WebAS and the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

I've some documents concerning EJB's. But i dont know

on which version this examples has been developed.

Anyway, i'm trying to do some examples concerning the EJB course script. There are some menu items mentioned, but i'm not able to find this items in Eclipse.

It belongs to the menu item "<i>EJB Project</i>" and "EJB <i>Assembly Project</i>". I cant find this items in my Version of Eclipse(WebAS6.40), there is only an "<i>EJB Module Project</i>" item available. Is it possible, that some menu items has changed??

Thanks for your help,

Best Regards,

Maik.

Hi Maik,

there was a reorganization of J2EE projects in NetWeaver Developer studio between 6.30 and 6.40 versions. In 6.30 there used to be both EJB Project and EJB Assembly Project (same for the Web projects by the way). From the 6.40 on, the functionality of both projects was combined in a single EJB Module project (Web Module project, respectively).

There is a migration guide describing how to port your NWD projects to the newer version. You can find it here:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/migra... guide from web as 6.30 to 6.40.pdf

Hope that helps,

Ivo

I've been through a few of the ones from SAP and didn't notice too many problems. But if your tutorials are from another source, it could be that the Eclipse plugins are different.

Which documents (tutorials) are you following?
