HANA Hierarchy data does not shown in Design studio after implement analytical privilege

Hi All,

We created star join calculation view with sheared parent-child hierarchy from dimension type calculation view. We create analytical privilege base on the hierarchy from the dimension calculation view. (Running HANA SP12)

In the Hana studio the analytical privilege are working fine and the result set contain the privilege member and all its children, BUT when viewing the view with design studio dashboard I get only the privilege member without the children.

Any Idea?

Hi Tammy,

The Hierarchy is working perfect in Design studio, the only thing that does not work is the Analytical privilege filter.

I'm curious what happens if you preview your HANA app using Design Studio as mentioned on pages 41-42 here: http://help.sap.com/hana/SAP_HANA_Modeling_Guide_for_SAP_HANA_Web_Workbench_en.pdf

Does the same thing occur?
