Hi,

This is currently not supported. You need Crystal Server for it. This function is already planed for future B1 release. I gave this as the top priority when the SAP development team asked my option.

Hello Sir,

     I need to send automated emails to the Customers once they create the lot. I need to pass Lot number as Parameter, once it added to the Database we need to send automated email.

Is it possible with Crystal Reports.

      whats your SAP Business one version?

in SAP Business one 8.81 there is on option for sending automated/sheduled email from Query layout

designer.

    I f you want to use it for crystal report.you have to install SAP Crystal report server.

Hi Rajani,

              There is an option in SAP Business one 8.82 for shedule report run.Write a query with out parameter and then save the query in Query manager.Open Query manager first create report layout for your query and then click shedule button.

  Report Execution scheduler window will open give the report running recurrence as per your requirement and add reciepents..

But, my case is different here

Once the Lot is created by the Customer, Lot Created Report need to be sent to the Customer through email automatically.

Our partner put us onto a piece of open source software http://www.logicitysuite.com This automates running Crystal reports into PDF's and then Emailing or printing just like the B1 XLR function.  Works very well
