Hi
We have a visual studio 2008 vb.net application, and corresponding Windows Installer application - which incorporates Crystal Report 2008 (we have the boxed developer version)
We've in the process of upgrading to vis Studio 2010 - should we be installing Crystal 2010 and corresponding runtime (crruntime_12_0.msm) , or stick to Crystal 2008 - we want to upgrade to dotnet framework 4 - we found that the Crystal 2008 engine was requiring '.net framework 4', as opposed to '.net framework 4 client profile' - we were hoping to use the more compact version.
Thanks
Bruce
Crystal Reports 2008 is not tested or supported with VS 2010.
If you plan on going to VS 2010 then you really should move to Crystal Reports for VS 2010.
