    Hi,

    you need to create your own DD-Box using HTML coding.

    If the used characteristics are fixed you could code s.th. like :

    <form action="<SAP_BW_URL item='DD_ITEM'>">

    <select name="IOBJNM">

    <option value="0CUSTOMER">Customer</option>

    <option value="0PRODUCT">Product</option>

    </select>

    </form>

    with DD_ITEM the logical name of your Drop-Down-Box. Then the attribute IOBJNM of the item DD_ITEM will be changed once this form is posted. Also you could code on the onchange event of the <select> tag to fire the command when the drop-Down-Box is changed.

    Please see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f5/6c013a53271a05e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm for more example coding.

    If the characteristics can not be defined in the Web Template, then you would need to use some javascript Coding (using function SAPBWGetDataProviderDimensions) http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/af/00453c3ff4110ee10000000a11405a/frameset.htm
