Software component Import

I imported into the Integration Repository nearly all standard software components, but none of the namespaces has been associated, so every Software Components is, effectively, empty; that is a proble in particular with SAP BASIS 6.40, which should have the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/system under which should be all the metadata for the Adapter.

What could be happened?

Ed,

When you import the Software components into IR, there will be no default namespace associated with those components. You have to create a namespace for the component(s) you want to build for. Once the namespace is created, then you will create the Data Types, Message Types & other objects in the IR.
