Sneak-Preview development reusable in Ramp-Up (Final)Version?

my customer will participate the ramp up program of Netweaver.

We think about to start develop a few functions and webdynpros in the sneak preview.

Will the development from the sneak-preview run on a ramp-up (or final) Netweaver? Are there huge differences between the sneak-preview and the ramp-up-version?

Thanks for help!

    Hello Renald,

there is a couple of changes there that would force you to port the application. Especially web dynpro was still on change since sneak preview.

Therefore there never was a guarantee that sneak preview stuff can run on any later version.

    Hi Renald,

you'll have no guarantee, like Benny already said correctly. But looking back at some bigger changes in the Web Dynpo metamodel like the move to Adaptive RFC, there was support in the NDS to migrate the applications to the new stuff, so this might be the case in future also and therefore it might work.

    Hope that helps.
