Problem installing miniSAP 6.20

Hi all,

just wondering if anybody has installed minisap WAS 6.20. I have tried to install it on an XP machine and it starts the installation by copying the 11 files in the dow prompt window but then just as the first progress bar gets to 0 mins left the bar then goes back down and an error message is displayed in the dos promt window saying there was a problem with the instalation. Anyone got any suggestions as to why this is happening

Thanks in advance

    Hi Mart,

I have installed 6.20 under W2000 and I found the best thing you can do is to take a fresh installation of the OS with no modifications or optimizations on it. I had a lot of trouble when I tried to use a optimized system. The reason is that the Program is using some services which are normally switched off for security reasons and no one else needs that stuff. So what to do: take a fresh installation, set it apart from the internet and the rest of your network (so the is no risk of worms or viruses) , install minisap, it will run, and then go and make all that modifications/optimizations necessary to run Windows in that real, bad world.
