Error while processing file using File Adapter

Hello,

I have my File Adapter configured & activated. The adapter is polling for the file on the NT server (same as Adapter Engine). But it gives back an error message as below :

==========

11:58:19 (4052): Start processing "TXT" file "c:\temp\InFlatFile.txt" size 7 in "EO mode

11:58:19 (4062): Sending text message "22944890-a9ce-11d8-957f-e2e40afa0417" type "text/plain" to Integration Engine... (message size: 71 bytes, URL: "http://xiserver:8001/sap/xi/engine?type=entry")

11:58:22 (4076): ERROR: Finished sending to Integration Engine with error "com.sap.aii.messaging.net.TransportException: HTTP 500 Internal Server Error". Skip confirmation and quit this loop

==========

The <u>Status</u> of the File Adapter (in Adapter Engine) is <i>Started</i> but the <u>Condition</u> is <i>Failed</i> (due to above problem).

Can someone please help me understand & rectify the problem.

Many thanx.

Homiar.

    Pandari,

    Thanx for the suggestion. I checked the RFC connection & that seems fine.

    Any other ideas/suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx,

    Homiar.
