BPS protect inpt for manual planning

Whats the better way to protect (and unprotect) input for manual planning on top of data slice? Should i use some type of standard InfoObject like 0statKeyFigure?

    Hello Antonio,

Well, data slices are more or less the only way that works centraly. You cann switch individual columns input off in the layout builder but you have to do that for every layout individually.

You could as well write some macros or java script and modify the generated BSP (provided you are using the web) but that is very clumsy. I would try to stick to data slice and "comparison columns" in the layout.

    Best regards,

Ok. Thanks Gerd. May customer is afraid with performance/flexibility to manage the flag based on UPC_DATASLICE tables (Desable/enable). They have large volumes to deal and are looking for another ways. Thanks.
