Rework and reporcess batch usage restriction

I have one semi finished material A and during inspection lot UD, I found that the SFG A requires rework to do to improve material quality.

Now, we have finished goods B (manufactured using SFG A) which we are sending to 2 different market X and Y.

We don't want to send the finished goods B which is manufactured using rework SFG A with batch no. B1 to our X market, but we can send the FG B to Y market where we have used rework batch B1 for SFG A.

In system how we can control SFG with rework batch and without rework batch and identify @ material issue level.

Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

If you review the multiple spec functionality you will see SAP examples for setting this up in a way to approve or disapprove batches for certain countries. I'm not sure if country equates to your markets or not. But you could probably use this functionality in a similar manner.

You can also use simple batch search strategies to meet this requirement. Using a batch characteristic you can identify what markets the material is good for. Batch search strategies could then be established to only suggest certain batches for certain customers based on market.

The devil is in the details and without knowing exactly how your markets are defined, what constitutes a market, how customers relate to markets, etc... it is impossible to give you an exact solution.

You'll also need a way to update the batch record with the right market values. This might be possible via QM and multiple specs. Or it might be necessary to use some user exits at key points in the process or it might have to be a manual process via MSC2n.

Dear you can try COOIS for production orders or COOISPI for process orders with rework order type it will give the header material details with its component withdrawls so you can identify the requirement.

Cheers
