Hi,

I already faced same issue ( NT Backup happens but giving error in DB13), but when i restarted the server DB13 backup happened successfully.

Try DB13 Backup after System restart.

But please ask your Server H/W vendor to update ASPI manager drivers.

Hi,

The service has not been started.

Try to insert a new tape and then check. Are you able to label the tape?

dear SS,

if you want to take backup on disk then first you set the following parameters

backup_dev_type = tape*

tape_copy_cmd=dd

volume_backup

and then you have to initialize the tape drive and run DB 13.

Regards,
