Hi,
In the variable screen find box for F4 help values in Web Application designer, when users type lower case letters in the find box, values are not getting retrieved(ofcourse records are in upper case letters). Is there a solution where we can make settings so that F4 help values shows up in the search even with lower case letters?
when user type CORN, then records with CORN are coming. but, when user type corn, records CORN are not showing up which is annoying for end users to type in upper case letters.
there is a How to paper in serive.sap.com about "How to... Search non-case sensitive".
this paper details for BEx but not for Web. even if it works for web, we are not fine with it as it needs some maintenance of InfoObject or modification of info Object Text table. My lead complains at this solution.
if any one has already worked on this, I appreciate your inputs.
thanks

How can this limitation be removed? There doesn't appear to be any notes on OSS on this ?
