Dear Sirs,

I tried the webdynpro tutorial Using an Email Web Service in Web Dynpro. I wmanaged to get it deployed to the server but strange thing is tha all the inoputfields are protected. I can not even enter the curser in the field, it just disapears. I checked the fields in the developerstudio properties of the form for the readonly but these are set to false. Can you help me with this problem ? Greetings Danny.

    Hi Danny,

the behaviour you describe is typical for view elements, which are bound to model attributes where the model is not properly initialized. Did you download the tutorial project from SDN at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/creating an email-client using web dynpro and web services.zip or build it by yourself?

    Best regards

    Stefan

    • Hello Shakeel,

you should talk to the administrator of your company's ISA Server to allow your Portal Server access to the internet without authentication. I think the ISA Server uses NTLM for authentication. That is AFAIK not supported by the WebDynpro as a client.

      Regards

      Gregor
