How are SAP company system connected to OSS

I am employee of SAP, we have servers locate in external hosting center and installed Solution Manager 7.1, I want to get it configured. But seems OSS connection is madantory.

Is there a way that for a server belong to SAP can connect to service market place like customer's system? I just need get SLM configured. thanks
