iview Development

We are on EP5.0 SP5.0.

Installed JDK, Tomcat, PDK, Eclipse and PDK Plug-ins for Eclipse.

Following the Help in Eclipse I was able to create the PAR file and also view it in the browser at

http://localhost:8080/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/NewParProject.default

I was able to get "Hello" on the blue background.

Now I want to view this iview in my portals. How do I import this PAR file in the portals and make a JAVA iview.

Note: This is the first time I am developing an iview.

Any suggestions will be of great help.

Also is there a step by step guide for iview Development.

Check the admin guide first.

Then, in your portal, click on "Portal Admin" - "PAR Upload".. I think you can use this to upload your PAR file. then goto "content admin".. create new java iview from master iview.....
