Alternative / Customized WebDynpro Login Screen

Hi all,

is there a possibility to customize the SAP logon screen? We need to change the image, hide the selfregistration and give the user a chance to switch the language.

I've tried to change the UME parameters via visual admin but this doen't seem to have any effect on the SAP WebDynpro login screen.

If this is not possible, is there a way to use an own written login screen then?

Hi Karin,

I'm not able to find the UME Provider under the dispatcher settings its only available under the server setting, but changing the values there has no effect on the behavior of the login.

Could you please give me a detailled description where to find the server wide settings?

Sorry for the delay.

It is possible. You have to pay attention that when changing the UME Service Proeprties, you use Visual Admin's cluster wide configuration and not the service specific one.

If you need more information on that, please let me know, so that I can get some more documentation on that.
