How to find out System Status of WBS Elements?

Hi PS Experts!

Please help me on my query.

I want to get a list of WBS elements whose status is Released and can be used.

If I try to search the table PRPS, it can only help me in finding WBS elements without deletion flag, with RA Key and so on.

But the System status (such as Blocked for use) etc. is not present in the table.

The one way I know is to get Object Number of WBS element from PRPS Table and insert it in JEST Table to get system status.

Or alternatively, I give the WBS element no. in CJ20N t-code, and then check for System Status.

These 2 methods work, if I do it one WBS Element at a time. If I need to get thousands of WBS elements in such a fashion, it's tedious.

So could anyone help me on this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Vinitha.

The WBS Element list can be fetched from CN43N.

Exectute the report for multiple project and put a filter for sys status not equal to CRTD.All those WBSE are available for your use.

You can make use of status selection profile to filter the project and its object based on system status. You will use this status selection profile in std. SAP reports.

There are many threads available on this subject, so search the forum, you will find useful information on this. Also, read SAP Help it will help.

    HI Vinitha,

Your question is bit not clear to understand. You have given two different statements of checking the REL status and then mentioned deletion flag etc. however, If I understood your question correctly, do you want to take out a list of all WBS elements with a particular status ? Have you tried using CN41N or CN43N using filter or selection profile ?

    Regards,

    Bala

      Vinita,

You can get this using status selection profile (BS42) & use this status selection profile with reports like CN41/ CN41N.
