How do you deregister a device?

Hi All,

I have installed and uninstalled ME Client on my computer a number of times, synced many versions of various test apps etc., and now I want to clean out many lots of the data on the ME server component. I have many, many entries listed under device ID in status "Deletion with Next Synchronization" that I would like to delete; but I can't. Also, because I have deleted old installations of ME client etc. on my machine, I guess that Sync will never happen. How does ME server cater for this?

Thanks,

Martin

    Hi Martin!

Look at these two function modules on Web AS (ME Server):

    (1) DELETE_ALL_DATA_OF_USER (delete serverside userdata - e.g. APPS)

    (2) DELETE_ALL_DATA_OF_DEVICE (delete serverside device-data e.g. ID)

    Best regards,

      Hi Aditya,

      Thanks for the reply.

This seems to me like a severe limitation, which I hope will be addressed in future versions of ME, as it can be quite time-consuming to reinstall the framework.

      Thanks and Regards,
