SDK Info: SBO takes 99% CPU and freezes the computer for infinity

SOLUTION PROVIDED IN PATCH: 6.50.53.24

Problem symptom:

Instancing and terminating this Add-On-executables do not need any CPU-power of SBO Business One. But from some how reason I’m facing the problem, that after a couple of instancing and terminating of this Add-On-executables, SBOBusinessOne.exe’s CPU needs raises up to 99% and freezes the hole computer. Nothing works anymore. The only way is to kill the SBOBusinessOne process using the task manager.

Scenario:

Run SAP Business One application - with at least 1 UI addon.

Operating system is XP or windows professional.

While trying to click with your mouse on Choose language icon or word or excel - SAP Business One will take 99%-100% of the CPU and freezes the computer.

Fix:

Upgrade to patch 24 (6.50.53.24)

If you are having this problem - please contact the support for the patch or wait till it will be uploaded to the market place.

Best

Miki

Thanks, Miki, that is exactly what I have been looking for. I also think that this will resolve some problems we are having at an ASP provider here in Norway.

Do you know when patch 24 will be posted to the market place?

      Hi Hans Martin

In our AddOns (with DI and UI) we don't make use of any such loop at all, and they are working very well. Why do you think a loop like this is necessary?
