SSO EP to R/3 with SAPLOGONTICKET and Mail as userID

Hi everybody,

we changed our EP 6.0 with an active directory as the user persistance store in a way that you can logon with your emailadress (Mapping changed from "samaccountname" to "mail").

Now we want to use SSO with a SAPLOGONTICKET to a EBP 4.0. Our problem is that due to the changes the mailadress is the userID in the SAPLOGONTICKET now. Is there any chance to change the EP that is picks the "uniquename" as the userID for the ticket?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Christian

    Hello Christian,

I invite you to take a look in the Portal Security on page 46 for how to setup a R/3 reference system.

Basically it will generate you two (2) Logon tickets. One with your PortalID and One with your R/3 ID.

Just be aware that there are some little pit falls to avoid but they are in the documentation.

      Hi everybody,

since nobody seems to know how to manipulate the selection of fields from the SAPLOGONTICKET,

maybe someone has an idea on how to map a lot of users (> 20.000)

very easy and with low cost of administration to the reference system.

Right now one has to map every single user manually to the reference system.

      Thanks for your help.

      Regards Christian
