hi

wat is your solman version?

check in the tcode sm_config_jobs whether SM:EXEC SERVICES job scheduled day wise or not?

You can look in sm37, and schedule manually,

Hi,

If you receive the report when performing "Start Service procesing" as you mentioned in your post, then all configuration in SDCCN in satellite systems is correct.

You just need to wait to report SM:EXEC_SERVICES to run (next day) or schedule it again.

Hello,

To make the EW task be created in the SDCCN of your satellite system you must create the session in DSWP of your solution manager and then run the task "Refresh sessions" in the SDCCN of your satellite system.

If this does not work, check if the RFC used to connect to your solution manager(usually SM_<system id>CLNT<client number>BACK is working.

Also make sure that the installation number of the managed system is correct in SMSY and DSWP of your solution manager, check the system ID and product as well.

Hope this can help you.

Daniel.

Schedule the job "SM:EXEC SERVICES" daily.

Very likely, you missed some steps in basic configuration of your SAP Solution Manager system.

This can be easily done via transaction SOLMAN_SETUP.

Hello Sampath

Did you schedule the jobs in SDCCN periodically ? You can check by looking at the status column (it should display a white square with a blue graph through it and when you float over it, it should state "periodic task".

Which jobs did you schedule there ? Do you have Maintenance Package and Refresh Sessions scheduled periodically ? They should run daily.

Kind regards

Tom

Sampath,

On the Satellite/managed systems you need to schedule as a period job to run ever day the Maintenance Package task.

This task does a number of things, refreshes service defintions from all sources and also refreshes sessions.

It is this task that will pull the session from solution manager and create an Earlywatch alert task that will populate the session and transport it back to solution manager via the back RFC.

However that is just scheduling the job, you also need to configure SDCCN properly.

Please review and use this document to setup your ABAP EWA reports.

It is a great document that works if followed.
