PDK 5.0 problem

Hi

I have a problem in starting PDK 5.0

1. I have installed j2sdk1.3.1 in C:\j2sdk1.3

2. I have installed tomcat 3.3.2 in C:\tomcat

3. set environment variables to %JAVA_HOME% = C:\j2sdk1.3 and %TOMCAT_HOME% = C:\tomcat

4. PATH = %PATH%;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%TOMCAT_HOME%\bin

5. Tomcat servlet runs with http://localhost.com:80

6. Now Unzipped the tomcat_pdk_5_0_5_0.zip to C:\tomcat

when I start tomcat engine using startup.bat using command prompt new window opens and shuts down immediately which terminates the startup. I am installing it on my desktop W2K OS.

Could anybody help in resolving this issue please....

thanks,

Suresh

    Suresh,

Try changing the tomcat part of your path environment variable to %TOMCAT_HOME%\lib\apps

I can't find the documentation that says to set it this way, but that's how mine is set.

      Hello again...

I was so excited when tomcat started working with PDK plugin...but that lasted only for a day...her you go again..

I started tomcat in debug mode using command

      C:>tomcat\bin>tomcat.bat debug

wondow starts and closes automatically, but when I start without debugiing mode, it works fine(tomcat starts without any problem).
