xml data of discussions

Hello everybody!

I tried to find out where discussions are saved in EP6. Can't find anything in the repository. In the i-view properties there's something about a file named "Discussion.xml" in the field "query". Is this the file the whole discussion is saved into? Where can I find this file?

And another question to the same subject: How can you import whole old discussions or forums (xml-files) into EP6?

Thank you!

Marcus

    Hi Marcus,

    i have the same problem.

I think it is this way. The discussions are stored in the repository collaboration. But this is not available in the root. The discussion you have in the discussion iview are opened on the discussion folder in documents.

Do you know more. Because we want to set an index to the discussion data source so that they are also included in the search.

    Thanks for your help

      Hi Marcus,

we are also still searching. I thought the repository for discussion is collaboration but it is not visible in the admin explorer under root.

Therefore we cannot set an index on it.

which repository do you use? a new one? xml files are primarly stored in etc. but i do not know if this is also true for discussion.

      Thanks

      Nicole
