Switching Off JavaScript Generation

Our web site has to Section 508 (ADA) compliant. How do we force the SAP Web AS to generate only pure HTML for the client and no JavaScript?

Thanks

    Hi Paul,

Using Web Dynpro you are able to build Web-based User Interfaces for professional business applications. For those you need to have JavaScript in it, since those applications are not simple Web pages but delivering business functionality. So that is why you can not force the server to generate pure HTML. Anyhow, SAP plans to meet SAP Accessibility standard. It does not matter if a page contains JavaScript or not.

    Hope that helps.

    Best regars,

    Karin

    Thanks Karin.

Will the SAP Accessibility Standard conform to U.S. Federal regulations (ADA and Section 508)?

Does it conform now? If not, when?

    Thanks!
