Mail receiver Adapter

Hi all,

How can I send the content of the file as Body of the mail, not as an attachment. My scenario is File(FTP) to Mail.

Please help me in finding the solution.

Hi pothana Yadav,

But i am using File(FTP) at sender side without IR objects. so it will directly pick the flat file and place it in XI. Then how can i use mapping for this......

Can we Convert the mail attachment '.xml' to '.txt' and send as as attachment. If possible send me some Information.

Hi

You will have to import a WSDL for sending mails. this WSDL is available on SAP Marketplace and it will have all details like from, to subject,and content. To get this WSDL just check this link,

Just do the mapping of the respective fields and the information mapped to the content field will be passed as the content of the mail.

Hi Hareen, Abilash,

I am using the following parameters.

Transport protocol: SMTP

Message Protocol: XIPAYLOAD

Without checking mail package.

For this Keep attachments or not, is not an issue, if we keep attachments it will take the name you have given as subject otherwise it will take the message no as file name.

Make use of XIPAYLOAD protocol in mail channel and use Mail Package.

Hi,

If you need to send a mail with both the body and attachment then,

select the Keep Attachments checkbox and go to Module tab and set ContentDisposition as inline in the receiver mail adapter

If not PI will produce the payload as as an attachment by default.
