Value of one enhance field not getting updated durind regular CIF

Hi,

Out client uses additiona material name to existing MATNR. This value is transferred via CIF by assigning the additional name to the field ATT01 (APO enhance field) during CIF.

Somehow this new field ATT01 is not getting the value during normal CIF run (RIMODGEN, RIMODAC2).

If i run the CIF manually n debug mode, the same problematic materials are getting updated and ATT01 field is getting populated.

Why is this descrepency between manual run and Automatic Backfround CIF?

The problem was that, the Background job was running in Change mode for updating the material details.

After runnig the CIF in initial mode the problem, got solved automatically.

Hi,

Check whether any CIF user exit is being used, such user exits generaly allow one time updation of APO field during data transfer. However, the logic may vary as per the program used in the user exit.
