ORA-1403 when accessing table SAPUSER ( SAPVIEW.TSK possibly corrupted)

While installing SAP ECC on Oracle 10.2.0.4 / AIX 5.3 , I am getting following error at Import ABAP step, error logs are below,Please help

1. import_monitor.log

Hi All,

This is not any SAPVIEW.TSK problem.

For resolving please follow below:

1.Check your brconnect connection

2.Check the right permissions on /sapmnt/SID/exe/* and also on others like on initSID.ora,initSID.sap etc with correct ownership

3.After running ./sapinst under DB_SCHEMA ID give SAPSID and run the installation again.

Issue is not with ORA-1403 when accessing table SAPUSER

check SAPVIEW.LOG file in the same location, and see what exactly is the error, then accordingly adjust SAPVIEW.TSK file and repeat the phase.

if you are not sure, just give us the details of SAPVIEW.log file.

Hello

The problem is ,there are 2 file called SAPVIEW.TSK and SAPVIEW.TSK.bck

It seems that the import ABAP is interrupted and you have tried to start it again

SAP has this new feature while laoding and creating database with task files

Now

1. first look at file java_import*

import_monitor*

Here you will find what all task files are not finished successfuly with RC=0

2. Get to the indivisual log file like SAPSSEXC.LOG/SAPVIEW.LOG etc to get the exact error

Correct the error

3. once that is done merge the above 2 file or all task file which has their respective bck file

R3load - merge_bck option

4. once that is done make sure you do not have *.bck task file and then only continue with sap inst

Note :454368, 455195

Hi,

Please look at SAPSSEXC.log file for error details and reason for this failure.By the way, SAP can only installed on server editions like Windows server 2000/2003/2008 not on professional OS like XP.
