XML Forms in EP6 SP2

Hi,

I have created news items using the XML Forms Builder, and two standard iViews to author and view the content respectively. The question relates to the iView wherein I can perform read-only actions (viz., "give feedback" & "send to") on a news item. This iView uses the layout set "NewsBrowser".

<b>The links described above appear below each news item. It's almost like two different rows; in the first, the item appears and in the second, the links appear. Now, I want to move these links in the same row as the news items, so that these links appear right next (horizontally) to the news item.</b>

I tried changing the default layout, collection renderer and resource renderer settings. But I could not find any property through which we can control the placing of the resource and the actions associated with it. Ultimately, it all boils down to some JAVA classes that come packaged with the Portal installation. These, I believe, we cannot change.

If anyone of you has any ideas or suggestions regarding my problem, please let me know as soon as possible.

Thanks and Regards,

Sagar.

The only way to place those links aligned with each others, is to create a diferent form, ListEdit,ListShow instead of RenderList Item

then you have to create a label for each link you want to display and asign the corresponding href to each of the labels you have created, sendto, feedback...etc

then you have to creat an iview(new from portal archive > com.sap.km.cm >xmlform) you have to specify in the ivew properties the name of the proyect, the patch to place the xml and the form used for diplaying them,(imagine your proyect is news....XMLform ID:news Path:documents/myfolder/news XSL style sheet for list:newsListShow.xsl , the name of the form you have created before)

if it doesn't work you will have to edit the *.xsl files generated on etc/xmlforms/<proyectname>

with an editor laike eclipse, to render the form as you want it to be displayed..

i know it's sound hard but it works
