Hi

I am facing some issues in line with SEZ plant

one of our plant is in SEZ , if stock has to be transferred from SEZ zone to domestic area i.e DTA Sales for this sales CVD has to paid

In case of stock transfer at the time of the truck moves out of the SEZ factory gate CVD has to adjusted for this following auto entry has to be passed

  1.           CVD paid Dr. XXXXXXX.

          CVD Payable CR. XXXXXXX.

This is just like excise invoice, but excise invoice should not be created

Further goods are sold from receiving warehouse At the time of billing the CVD will have to recovered from the billing.

2.            Customer Dr. XXXXXXXX

          Sale A/C  Cr. XXXXXXXX

          Vat A/C  Cr.  XXXXXXXX

          CVD recoverable A/C.  Cr. XXXXXXXX

Can anyone share if they have there plants in SEZ and are doing DTA sales and stock transfer

I am not able to find any standard solution.

Hi,

SEZ Units Enjoys duty free imports, domestic procurement of goods for developement ,operation and procurement.we need to see In which process excise duties will be paid i.e through Bond or by license. In CIN we need to configure Plant settings in Txn J1ID,Excise groups, series groups, update of registers accordingly. While creation of SEZ Plant the above points makes extreme important once after creation of the plant.

Hi,

In general, in domestic (Indian) process, plant is created and materials are procured for plant, based on condition of consumption of materials, excises taxes related to procurement of materials, may be taken an INPUT credit (CENVAT) or inventoried . BUT in the case of SEZ plant NO INPUT CREDIT (CENVAT) will be taken for all material procurement in the for SEZ plant and GR will be done without excise duty in MIGO.

All product produced in the SEZ plant are not subjected any duty.
