Connecting to non-SAP systems with visual composer

Does somebody know if it is possible to connect to non-SAP systems (e.g. a relational database) using the Visual Composer?

not at the moment but afaik SAP is working on that topic for the GA version.

Hi,

In the GA version 2 new connectors will be supported by Visual Composer: Siebel connector and a JDBC connector. Both will allow using of functions (that correlate BAPIs and RFCs on SAP systems). In JDBC it means you'll be able to run stored procedures.
