R/3 Enterprise on WAS 6.40

Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade r/3 enterprise basis (was 6.20) to was 6.40 basis. We want to use was 6.40 opportunities such as adobe form designer, webdynpro etc. on our 4.7 system. If this isnt possible what are the other alternatives.

It's not. The difference is that in former years technology always came only together with applications. Therefore you now have to wait for the ERP on this platform (mySAP ERP and NOT any more R/3) or install that version of the platform, use those technologies and connect from there to the old systems.
