"No data exits that needs to be approved" in CATS Approval-MSS

Hi All,

I have assigned mssuser2 as a substitute for mssuser1 in the portal. mssuser2 can view and approve mssuser1's absence and travel requests.

when I click on any CATS workitems in the UWL the popup windows opens up and displays "No data exists that needs to be approved". If i login as mssuser1 i can see and approve the items in the request. The problem only occurs with substitution.

Anyone encountered this scenario before?

Thanks,

Anand

Please check the table V_PTREQ_TEAM, For CATS approval

correct group has been defined MSS_LCA_EE

ensure the workitem is intened for the manager for the approval.

the approval view needs the entry in these tables to determine

how to select employees for the manager! of course you can have

your own evaluation paths, but you need to define them here!

are you using any modification as well to the XML?

    ie we pass wi_id" value="${item.externalId}"/>

please check is this is passed or not

A problem with the load balancing setup caused the problem.

    • Can you go into more detail about the problem? This happens from time to time in our production system, but I'm not sure why. I'd like to know if your solution can help. How would load balancing stop the workflow from not completing?
