HI Guys,
Still not clear to me how/where should I monitor archived messages in PI 7.1.
TO be honest is the first time I am facing such topic.
It looks like the archive is based on archiving/date ad message id.
Any way to monitor archive interface by namespace or interface name?
Archiving procedure has been defined, but interfaces to be archived have been just defined thereofore I guess
the only archived messages will be the ones from today + retention period.
Can anyone confirm it?
thanks in advance for your input.
Regards,
Giamma
Dear Giamma,
yes, there is such an option like you are looking for.
We decided to replace the "Search using ID" in SXMB_MONI with a new powerful functionality that enables you to monitor your archived messages using any active archive infostructure for archiving object BC_XMB.
This feature has been introduced as of PI 7.10 SP 11. An advance version is available per SAP note 1463896.
Just define a new archive infostructure according to your needs (f.e., add fields for service, party, interface and namespace), activate it and run the new search using this new infostructure.
Best regards,

Hello Giamma,
You can follow the procedure as said by Rohan. Orelse, you can direclty check the tables SXMSPMAST and SXMSPMAST2 with ur message id. The above tables are the switching tables where the archived messages get stored. But again, based on ur deletion jobs, the above two tables will also be cleared periodically.
But still, as a last option u can check the table SXMSPHIST (provided, u hav the message id)
