Prioritisation of SAP Promotions

I need to set up 2 promotions on the same article and I need to ensure only one promo is applied on time.

If purchase qualifies for both promotions, then promotion with best deal for customer should kick in.

  • If you buy single can of coke - buy 3 for £2
  • If you buy case of cans - buy case of 12 for £6

Please note - it is the same article in both cases. When customer buys case, it is article *12.

When customer buy 12 cans - we want customer to pay £6 as in second promotion, not 4 times £2 as in first promotions.

I think there might be 2 aspects of this

  • time when promotion kicks in - during or at the end of transaction.
  • Prioritization of promotions (if both promos applies, one should be higher priority).

I wonder can SAP handle 2 promos and prioritisation of promos?
