Where to Configure Resources in J2EE sever?

Hi everyone,

We are trying to deploy an application that is currently running on Websphere 5.0 Enterprise. We don't use any specific features from Websphere and we were already able to deploy the same application in Orion application server.

I installed the v40 sneak preview and ran the examples succesfully.

The questions are:

1. Where do you configure URLs, Datasources, Connection Factories, JNDI, etc in SAP Application Server?

2. How do you generate the SAP specific deployment configuration files (web-j2ee-engine.xml, ejb-j2ee-engine.xml, etc)?

Thank you

Configuration of Services like Datasources, ConnFact etc. is done best through the administrator frontend which can be found at (e.g.):

Within the Subtree Services you will find everything you need.

Generating the deployment descriptors could be done best through NetWeaver Dev. Studio. Create or import your project and go through J2EE-Perspective. Here you will have assistance for editing / generating the vendor - spec. DD's

    Hope this helps, regards
