ECC PR with account assignment Category P in SRM sourcing cockpit

Hello Gurus,

We are on SRM 7.0 , SP07 , ECC 6.0 , EHP 4 , classic scenario

I am finding strange behvaiour of the system . while processing external requirements from ECC to SRM for the PR without source of supply with account assignment category "P" ie Project against WBS element.

When the above type of requirements come into sourcing cockpit of SRM and buyer lets say buyer01 who is maintained in PPOMA org structre and if buyer01 attributes of account assignment category is set as default 'CC' ie cost center then when he creates PO from sourcing cockpit the PO craeted in ECC replaces account assignment cat "P" to "K" ie from project to cost center. Whereas same buyer01 when he creates shopping cart within SRM with acc ass cat "P" and he himself processes in the sourcing cockpit and creates PO then PO is created properly with acc ass cat "P" with wbs element.

It appears bug in the system . Is there any SAP Note on this.

Badi ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST is implemented and other sourcing config is in place for SRM
