UI: Which event, Item Master Data

Hi All

I can't figure out which event is raised when I press the double arrows in the toolbar with the Item Master Data form active.

Also I can not figure out which is raised when a new Item found using search mode.

I hope someone can help

    Hi Jesper

Are you talking about the two buttons "First Data Record" and "Last Data Record"? If yes:

    > "First Data Record" raises MenuEvent MenuUID 1290

    > "Last Data Record" raises MenuEvent MenuUID 1291

How can you find it yourself?

Rightclick onto the "SAP Business One UI API" Icon down in the windows taskbar. Click "Event Monitor" and "Monitor Events".

I don't know an answer to your second question; I'm wondering wether somebody knows it.

    • Hi Jesper,

there is no event indicating when "...new Item found using search mode.". At least: not yet.

But you can use the following workaround:

      - Create a formatted search / user-defined query.

      - Bind it e.g. to the item name field (<Shift>-<F2> / <Alt>-<Shift>-<F2>).

IMPORTANT: Hook the "Auto Refresh" option!

This query should be used to refresh a field on the list you'll see there, let's say "Item property no. 64, if it's not used.".

      - This way you will at least get an event after the search has successfully finished.

Please note that the "FormMode" has then changed to "fm_OK_MODE" etc.

      Hope that helps,

      Frank
