Error while triggering Process chain after patch upgrade

Hello All,

There has been a SAP Patch upgrade last week. Since then 1 out of our 12 process chains is displaying the following error message when triggered.

Error During Import; use /$SYNC to reset buffer. Message no. RSDODSO162.

Please provide a solution.

Hello Sneha,

Please execute /$SYNC on application servers or, to use the safest way,

restart all application servers to reset buffers. This should resolve the issue.

stupid question maybe, but....

did you ask basis team to reset the buffer as mentioned in the message?
