SRM 7.0 POWL Button and several Links are redirecting to Portal Home Page.

Hi Experts,

We have upgraded from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0.

Now we are facing a very strange issue, several links redirecting to Portal Home Page .

Below are the list of Action/links that redirecting to *Home Page*:

1. Employee Self Service->POWL button Dispaly/Edit and Shopping Cart Number link.

2.Employee Self Service -> Advance Search->Search Button at the TOP.

3. Manager->Overview->WorkOverview-> Work items link and Resubmit/Forward button in UWL screen

4. Manager-> Navigation->All Links under navigation.

There are many more...

Please help me to solve this issue..

Hi Ganesh,

In Employee Self Service tab we have POWL table view where list of Shopping Cart number are available,right?

In this screen we have "Shop"/"Display"/"Edit"/"Print Preview" buttons.

My issue is when i click on "Display" or "Edit" button it's opening the Portal Home Page, i.e. the First page we are getting after login to Portal.

In the Manager tab we are also getting the same issue..when we are clicking on any of Work items it is redirecting to Home Page..also "Resubmit" and "Forward Button" is a doing the same thing...

hope you'll be now able to understand the issue....

Experts please help...badly stuck in this issue..

Hi,

when we click In this screen "Shop"/"Display"/"Edit"/"Print Preview" buttons.

the shopping cart screen should open /display mode /edit mode of the shopping cart.

The problem is related to Portal content .Please check with your Portal Consultant (or) neweaver consultant

I think SRM Business package is not applied

Hi Gansesh,

Thanks for you quick reply.

"Shop" button is working fine, when we click on shop button it is showing the 4 step shopping cart screen. Even "Advance Search" link is working fine,it is showing the search screen.

But other buttons and link are not working, all redirecting to Home Page.

So Business Package is applied..

Experts any idea about this issue???

Hi,

It will related to Authorisation Issue.

Please check your Security team for the Authorisation

What kind of authorization ??

The user has both backbend and portal role. If there is authorization issue then none of the things will not work!!

But the situation is that some of the buttons and links are working and some are not.. even the user can see Workitems in its UWL.

So i am not sure what kind of authorization i need to check with security team.
